His practice encompasses all aspects of the law of individual and corporate insolvency. He regularly appears for and advises clients where there is an interface between the law of insolvency and real property, including issues of priority and the powers of LPA receivers.

Significant Reported Cases

Purewal v Countrywide Residential Lettings Ltd [2015] EWCA Civ 1122 (individual insolvency and receivership), Re Dent (a bankrupt) [1994] 1 WLR 956 (individual insolvency).


Senior barrister practising in the law of general chancery and commercial law with particular emphasis on real property, trusts, succession and insolvency.  This includes professional negligence in the context of each of these specialist areas.
