Arianna regularly acts for local authorities, health authorities and private individuals in community care and healthcare matters. Arianna has been involved in a number of judicial reviews of community care assessment and eligibility decisions, and has advised on matters relating to ordinary residence, charging and deferred payment agreements. Arianna has also given dozens of lectures and trainings on the Care Act 2014, and is happy to speak to large or small groups and a range of professional audiences.


Arianna appears principally in the Court of Protection in matters relating to welfare and health and deprivation of liberty and accepts instructions in many areas of Public Law. She has also worked extensively on community care, and has worked with many local authorities on the implementation of the Care Act 2014.

Arianna qualified as an attorney in the United States in 2008 and practiced there between 2008 and 2012. Arianna served as Senior Counsel to the President of the Massachusetts Senate, where she advised on a range of public law matters and legislation. Arianna also served as an Assistant District Attorney between 2008 and 2010, prosecuting a range of criminal matters. In 2013, Arianna completed her LLM at the London School of Economics, where she studied Mental Health and Mental Capacity law in civil and criminal contexts.
