Building Control

 

Members of the Practice Group offer specialist advice and representation in relation to building control issues under the Building Act 1984 and the Building Regulations 2000. The Practice Group is also experienced in relation to housing control issues which is an area subject to increasing regulation following the passing of the Housing Act 2004.

Members of the Group have particular expertise in the following forums:

• Regulatory Prosecutions;
• Challenges to statutory notices; and
• Judicial Review Proceedings.   

Members of the Group have experience in the following areas:

• Compliance with Building Regulations;
• HMO Licensing and Standards;
• Dangerous Buildings and Defective Premises; and
