Members of Kings Chambers’ Employment team have extensive experience in appearing on behalf of claimants and defendants in this constantly evolving area of practice. The issues involved straddle both employment and commercial law thus placing Kings Chambers in a unique position to advise upon the full range of disputes allied to this area of practice.

A number of practitioners are members of both the employment and commercial teams allowing our clients to benefit from advice which appreciates the commercial imperatives behind the enforcement of and/or challenges to restrictive covenants within contracts of employment. The team also has substantial experience in respect of disputes involving the use of trade secrets and/or confidential information by employees and regularly appear on behalf of employers and employees in litigious matters, particularly in relation to the financial services, healthcare and professional sports sectors.

Members of the team also have unparalleled experience in appearing before County and High Courts across the country and have particular experience in respect of applications for and against injunctive relief (including springboard injunctive relief).
