Discrimination and Equal Opportunities Litigation
Kings Chambers’ Employment team has extensive experience in dealing with all forms of discrimination in the workplace acting for both claimants and respondents alike. The team is well equipped to provide specialist advice and advocacy before tribunals, the EAT and the higher appellate courts.
Members of the team appear in cases at all levels of complexity up to multi-week claims involving hundreds of separate allegations of discrimination. Over recent years the different facets of unlawful discrimination (and the practice of the team) have expanded to now encompass age, disability, sex, race, religious and sexual orientation discrimination.
Equally the expertise of the team extends even further to highly specialised areas such as equal pay and whistle blowing litigation. Given the serious implications of the failure to adhere to relevant legislation employers are well advised to seek specialist advice at the earliest stage. For this reason members of the team are able accept instructions through direct access and direct professional access.
