Kings has developed noted expertise in all areas of construction disputes and can rightly claim to be the only Regional Chambers which has a recognised  and expert presence in this area.

The members of the Kings Construction Team are experienced in all types of disputes under  the major standard forms of building and engineering contracts, acting for employers, contractors and sub contractors. Members of the team appear in the T.C.C in Manchester and Leeds on a very regular basis and act in adjudication during the process and when issues of enforcement arise. One team member is  on the panel of TECBAR adjudicators and  has acted as such on several occasions. In addition the Construction Team assist in resolving disputes in Arbitration and through ADR, particularly Mediation as Counsel and Arbitration/Mediation. Judge Gilliland QC is practising as an Arbitrator from Chambers since his retirement from the T.C.C.

The team seeks to provide a specialist Construction Law Service with all the advantages of local Lawyers being close to their clients and more approachable  and user friendly  than London equivalents.
