Profile

Anthony joined Chambers in October 2010 upon successful completion of his pupillage.

Anthony accepts instructions in all areas of Town and Country Planning, including housing, retail, renewable energy, compulsory purchase, highways, enforcement and minerals. Anthony has advisory experience in all of these areas, and regularly appears in planning inquiries, enforcement inquiries, and enforcement prosecutions.

Anthony is regularly instructed to assist in preparing planning application documentation and representations to examinations in public.

Anthony accepts instructions in the field of Highways Law, including advisory work and appearances at public path and definitive map modification order inquiries. Anthony also advises on Town and Village Green applications.

Anthony has experience appearing in licensing appeals, and has particular experience in appeals relating to premises licences. Anthony also has experience in appearing in appeals before the Traffic Commissioner.

Anthony is regularly instructed to draft papers in statutory challenges and Judicial Review proceedings in the High Court. Anthony has experience appearing in the High Court on planning matters.

Anthony has experience appearing in the Lands Tribunal and advising on references to the Tribunal.
