Mini Pupillage Fair

Until recently Chambers offered standard mini-pupillages to those interested in a career at the Bar. However, we felt that a greater insight into life as a barrister could be obtained by a structured event and in 1999 we held our first mini pupillage fair.

The aim of this unique fair is to provide an opportunity to do more than just see others at work. It includes the following;

Court and tribunal visits

Practical exercises in drafting and advocacy

Talks from members of Chambers and Clerks on topics as diverse as the different areas of work, the role of the
            clerk, applications to the Bar

Talks from judges of various courts

A social event at a local wine bar to ask the questions that can’t be answered elsewhere

The mini-pupillage fair is aimed at those in their penultimate year of study. This means: in the 2nd year of a 3 year law degree; in the 3rd year of a 4 year law degree or a 3 year non-law degree to be followed by the CPE. We are unable to consider applications from those who are not at this stage in their education.
