Profile
Lucy enjoys a busy personal injury practice in the fields of public and employers' liability, road traffic litigation, fatal accidents, product liability, MIB claims and disputes under the Limitation Act. She has extensive experience of claims involving animals (Animals Act and beyond) particularly equestrian injuries.
Lucy is instructed by both Claimants and Defendants. Her lay client base stretches from the private individual to local authority and international corporate clients. She conducts a wide range of hearings including fast and multi track trials, trials of preliminary issues, contested procedural hearings and ancillary tribunal work. Lucy has experience of cross examining experts and regularly represents clients at Joint Settlement Meetings.

FOX v FOUNDATION PILING 2010
Lucy represented the Defendant and secured an order that the Claimant should pay the Defendant's costs of the action from the date of part 36 offer 15 months earlier on the grounds of conduct despite the fact that the offer was subsequently withdrawn and (because of the impact of CRU) the Claimant ultimately recovered a greater net sum than the offer allowed for.
