Corporate Charity Partner for 2008

Kings Chambers is pleased to announce that it will be supporting CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, in 2008.
 
Chambers Director, Debbie Andrés, who is co-ordinating this has said: “Chambers have historically been pro-active in raising funds for various charities and have decided to be more focused in raising funds for a ‘chosen charity’ each year.  We are delighted that we can direct our energy in 2008 toward helping CLIC Sargent, an extremely important cause caring for children with cancer.”
  
Our first major fundraising event for the year will be the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 18th May.  We have a team of 17 comprising of members of chambers, clerks and staff.

The money raised will be used by CLIC Sargent to continue caring for children and young people affected by cancer or leukaemia. As well as funding frontline care professionals, the money raised will provide support in the home and holiday services, and financial grants to help cover the increased costs that families face when their child has cancer.
