Social Welfare Law Conference 2010
Kings Chambers Community Care & Disability Association is delighted to announce its
Social Welfare Law Conference taking place on 26th January 2010, the first one to be held
outside of London
We are delighted to have Professor Luke Clement of Cardiff Law School and author of the
longstanding eminent text ‘Community Care and the Law’, Rita Brewis, Health Lead of In Control
and His Honour Judge Andrew Gilbart QC, The Honorary Recorder of Manchester & Deputy High
Court Judge of the Administrative Court as our guest speakers.
The course is designed to practitioners of all levels who specialise within the field of community care, housing, mental health, prisons, immigration and disability rights. It will provide an up to date analysis of the current legal landscape for each topic area and derives common themes for emphasis from experienced practitioners.
