Heysham M6 Link Road Triumph for Frances Patterson QC 
Following a six-week long inquiry last year, Frances Patterson QC has secured planning
permission from the Secretary of State for a £130 Million scheme from junction 34 on the
M6 to Heysham.
The Secretary of State accepted that there were very special circumstances to grant
consent for the road which passes through Green Belt land across attractive countryside.
This is the number one road scheme in Lancashire and will contribute to the alleviation of traffic
difficulties in Lancaster.
